Our Story
MoonSpoon took shape from a desire to carve thoughtful purpose into simple wooden spoons.
We are led by what we love. For Jonathan, it started with pancakes. His mother
Zoe taught Home Economics to his sixth grade. One Saturday when Jonathan asked her to make him pancakes, she told him to make them himself using the directions on the box. The instructions said that it was best to use a wooden spoon to stir the ingredients. Jonathan remembers thinking “why would the utensil make a difference?”
